Colorbound is a vibrant puzzle-platformer from Chilean indie studio Panpipe Studio, published by Whitethorn Games, that released on October 12, 2026 across PC and consoles. You play as Anku, a young Aymara boy, using the power of color to reshape the world and reunite his late grandfather’s band.
What is Colorbound?
Colorbound is a story-driven “palette-platformer.” You collect colors onto a palette and paint objects in the environment to solve logic and light-platforming puzzles. Each color behaves differently: lighter colors make objects float, heavier colors make them drop, and painting something to match the background makes it disappear. Combining these properties is how you cross gaps and open paths.
Who made Colorbound?
It was developed by Panpipe Studio, an indie team from Chile, and published by Whitethorn Games. The game draws directly from the Aymara culture of the Andes, blending traditional South American music and art styles into its puzzles and story.
When did Colorbound release?
Colorbound launched on October 12, 2026, on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, Humble), PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Switch 2. It released at $14.99.
